+ IS MY BUSINESS RIGHT FOR YOUR SERVICE?

+ WHAT CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

At BBC we are Squarespace experts. Why Squarespace you ask? Squarespace takes care of all the security and plugin updates automatically for you (unlike wordpress) - saving you time and money. It also has a very user friendly backend that makes it simple for you to update blogs, shop content or galleries!

+ HOW MANY WEBSITE PAGES ARE INCLUDED IN A BUILD?

We include 5 pages in a base cost price for a build; a home page, about page, a services page, a blog page and a contact page. These are of course tailored to your business' needs. Extra pages can always be added at an additional cost.

+ WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

Once we've chatted, you've ok'd the quote and we have an agreed upon start date, we'll get you to pay a 20% non refundable deposit for your chosen date. We book out work 4-6 weeks in advance so it's important that we stick to schedule for you and the business that follows yours.

Once work gets underway, you will then be asked to make staged payments. These stages include your 20% non refundable deposit prior to commencement, an additional 30% of the remaining cost prior to your request for edits and finally, the remainder of your bill will be due within 7 days of invoice at completion of the project.

Please note that no work will begin until confirmation of the received deposit for your project. If your deposit is not received by three business days prior to the agreed upon start date, your build/design will be pushed back by up to 4-6 weeks. To avoid this, please ensure that you promptly pay your deposit once the invoice is received. You'll receive a full T&C's document that explains payments with your formal quotation.

+ CAN I PICK A DATE THAT'S CONVIENIENT FOR ME?

Yes please! We encourage that! We'll of course do all the heavy lifting and be working away on creating magic for your brand. But during the design process, you will be asked for feedback and have an opportunity to request edits. It is important that our designers are able to contact you and that you provide us with a prompt response. If you're located outside of Australia, please make sure that you are diligent with your emails and if needed, available for facetime or a skype call.

+ WHAT DO I NEED BEFORE WE START?

We'll go over a few things by asking you to complete a little brand questionnaire prior to your official quote.

Before we actually build your website, we need all your written copy, along with any images you'd like used. These need to be sent to us a week prior to the 'web branding sheet' or design phase of your new digital home. If you don't have images, we can provide curated beautiful photos at no extra cost or we quote on doing a shoot with you and your team.

You also need to secure your domain if it's a new site. We reccommend Godaddy.com.au as it's the easiet to connect with Squarespace. If you already have an existing website, we need access to your domain host and any information about emails that may be connected to it.

+ DO YOU DESIGN ECOMMERCE SITES?

Heck yes we do!!! We can set up physical and digital products, gift vouchers and services that your business offers.

+ WHAT DO I GET AT THE END OF MY PROJECT?

A brand new website (of course), along with any PSD files or images used, design files (if required) and fonts.

+ WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE PHOTOS?

We can provide you with royalty free images or we can give you a quote to have new photos taken for your site. We have access to a beautiful library of images - so don't stress if you don't have incredible images on hand to use.

+ CAN YOU WRITE MY WEBSITE COPY FOR ME?

Yes we can! And we regulary do for our clients. We need to know this from your initial brand meeting so that we can send you a question and answer sheet to acurately write about your beautiful brand! If you're wanting to write the copy yourself but you're not sure where to get started, take a look at our pdf guide on how to write copy, located in the shop.

+ CAN YOU SHOW ME HOW TO USE MY WEBSITE?

Yes we can! We offer a one-on-one sit down or skype session with clients to show them how to use the backend of the site. We also give you a 20 page pdf document personally tailored to your site for you to reference later on (that way you don't have to madly scribble notes or remember everything our designers tell you). This is an additional service and is not included in the design or build of your site. Squarespace have a wonderful help centre where you can get almost any question answered if you don't want to sit down with one our team.

+ I WANT TO REFRESH MY BRAND, CAN YOU DO THAT?

Absolutely!!! We love doing rebrands! We'll go through colour choices, fonts and look and feel before diving into a new logo or a new website - whatever it is that your brand requires.

+ I HAVE AN EXISTING CMS, CAN WE STILL HIRE YOU?

Yes of course you can! You can hire Lizzy our (chief of all things creative) to design or offer creative direction for your website / campaign. Just use our contact form, let us know who you are and what you'd be interested in having Lizzy work on.
